Article 1 - Definitions

We use the following terms, the definition of each term is explained below:

Reflection period: the period within which you can exercise your right of withdrawal (if you no longer want your order)
The offer: the products that Paintaboo offers in the webshop.
You / your / your : any natural person or legal entity who enters into an agreement with Paintaboo or places an order via the webshop
Day : calendar day.
Long term transaction: a distance contract relating to a series of products and/or services, where the delivery and/or purchase obligation is spread over time.
Right of withdrawal: the option for you to cancel the distance contract within the cooling-off period.
Paintaboo: the legal entity that offers products and/or services remotely.
Distance contract: an agreement concluded without you and Paintaboo physically meeting, via a distance selling system organised by Paintaboo.
Remote communication technology: a means of concluding an agreement without the physical presence of the parties.
General Terms and Conditions: these General Terms and Conditions of Paintaboo.

Article 3 - The Agreement

The agreement is concluded as soon as you accept the offer (the contents of your shopping cart) and enter into the associated payment obligation (pay).
Paintaboo usually confirms your successful purchase by email within half an hour.
Paintaboo reserves the right to refuse an order for valid reasons (e.g., incorrect payment information or limited availability).

Article 4 - Applicability

These Terms and Conditions apply to every offer and agreement between Paintaboo and you.
You will receive prior access to these terms and conditions, which are always visible on the Paintaboo website.
With electronic agreements, the terms and conditions are made available digitally in an accessible manner.
If additional product or service conditions apply in addition to these conditions, you can invoke the provision that is most favourable to you in the event of any conflict.

Article 5 - The Offer

All offers are non-binding. The final agreement is formed upon placing an order.
Product images are as accurate as possible. Images may be renders/animations and therefore may vary in reality.
The offer contains all relevant information about prices, taxes, shipping costs, right of withdrawal, payment methods and any product variants such as sizes and colors.

Article 6 - Right of withdrawal

You can return an order within 14 days of receipt.
During the cooling-off period, you must handle the product with care and you may not cause any damage to the products.
Products that cannot be returned for hygienic reasons, such as used make-up sets or accessories, are excluded from cancellation.
Returns must be sent back within 14 days of notification.

Article 7 - Costs upon Cancellation

You are responsible for the return shipping costs, unless you are asked to return the product in exceptional circumstances.
Refunds will be processed within 14 days of receipt of the return shipment.
Damaged returns will not be refunded unless you can prove that you are not responsible for the damage to the return shipment.
We recommend that you take a photo of the package with the return label visible before returning it, so you can prove the condition in which the package was shipped.

Paintaboo stands for good, high-quality products. We strive to guarantee this as best we can.
Our products are covered by the statutory warranty.
You can submit warranty complaints via support@paintaboo.nl.

Article 10 - Delivery

Paintaboo aims to deliver within 30 days, unless otherwise agreed.
In the event of a delay, you will be notified promptly and are entitled to cancellation and a refund. Cancellation is permitted after a two-week delay.
The risk of damage or loss lies with Paintaboo until the moment of delivery.
If your order is shipped to a parcel point and not picked up, it will be returned to us. In that case, we will charge a €5.95 return shipping fee. This amount will be deducted from your refund.

Article 11 - Payment

Your payment will be made in your shopping cart.
The order is only completed when the payment is completed.
Paintaboo B2B customers must pay within the 14-day payment term stated on the invoice.

Article 12 - Complaints procedure

Complaints must be reported within 7 days of discovery via support@paintaboo.nl.
You will receive a substantive response within 14 days of receipt of the complaint.
If a complaint cannot be resolved through consultation, you can submit the dispute to an independent dispute committee.

Article 13 - Amendment clause

Paintaboo reserves the right to change or supplement these terms and conditions at any time.
The most recent version of the general terms and conditions always applies to the agreement between Paintaboo and the other party.
Changes will take effect upon publication on the Paintaboo website, unless otherwise indicated.
In the event of significant changes, the other party will be informed in a timely manner.
If the other party does not agree with the changes, it has the right to terminate the agreement before the effective date of the changes.

In short: by purchasing our products you agree to these terms.
